Semicore makes a good thing better… Semicore’s staff prides itself on its independent thinking and use of technology to enhance and improve the performance, reliability, and operational envelope of many industry standard platforms. For example: CHA Mark 50 has become a de facto industry standard for high throughput evaporation systems with its design simplicity; operational ease, and consistent reliability. However, as good as it is, it can be improved – Semicore has eliminated a potential risk of contamination by substituting modern 100,000 cycle, OEM warrantied 16 inch VAT Pendulum high vacuum isolation gate valves for the standard air over oil hydraulic valves. Similar innovative thinking has gone into the improved design and manufacture of each of our remanufactured systems. These are not functionally equivalent clones; they are Semicore’s own tested and proven improved versions of industry standard platforms. In some cases, like our CHA Mark 50 equivalent, our improvements are revolutionary; in all cases our improvements are at least incrementally evolutionary. We like to think of our designs as the next generation of those platforms. Our approach transcends simple reverse engineering that would hamstring us with a legacy design. Our goal is not just to deliver functional equivalency; it is always to provide the next generation in functionality while maintaining current price points. |
